I just want to give a shout out to all of those who are in a relationship with a transguy. I, myself, am in one. His name is Max, and we’ll be going on 4 months together as of March 5th. And yeah, sometimes our relationship gets really rocky (part of that, is because we live 2 hours away from each other, and see each other about 1 or 2 times a month) But, in the end, the relationship can be really rewarding. Max has taught me so much. Mostly opening my eyes about the truth of sexuality and gender. But about other things as well. Max is an artist, and so I’ve gotten the chance to look at life through his eyes. There is beauty in everything. And that never crossed my mind before. So I’m thankful to him for showing me new ways to look at things. To appreciate life differently.
I just wanted to drop in and say that. And to those of you who are supporting trans friends, family, and significant others, stay strong. Sometimes it’s hard. But trust me, it’s worth it.
Also, I’m no expert on everything transgender, but I promise you, if you’re ever looking for advice, I’ll do what I can to help. Max will too :)
