Terms to know
  1. FTM- Female to male
  2. Transgender- anyone who’s behavior, thoughts, or traits differ from the societal expectations for their sex. This group includes cross-dressers, transsexuals, intersexuals, gay men, lesbian women, and bisexuals.
  3. Transsexual- a person who has undergone medical and surgical proceduresto alter external sexual characteristics to those of theopposite sex
  4. Binder- A tight-fitted top that is worn to bind breasts down
  5. Binding- When a ftm wears a binder
  6. Top Surgery- A surgery where the breasts are deducted or implanted
  7. Bottom Surgery- A surgery where ones sexual organs are transformed into those of the opposite sex
  8. Dysphoria- A state of unease or generalized dissatisfaction with ones gender.
  9. Hard Packer- A fake penis, dildo, that is worn to underneath pants that is used for sex
  10. Soft Packer- A fake penis, dildo, that is worn to underneath pants that is not used for sex, but to be used to show a bulge
  11. AndrogynyHaving both masculine and feminine gender typed traits
  12. Bigender-The tendency to fliexbly shift between masculine and feminine gender-typed behavior.
  13. Cross Dressing- Dressing the opposite of your preferred gender 
  14. Cissexual-Someone happy with the sex they were born
  15. Detransition- To retun to living as a member of one’s biological sex after an extended full-time period of living as one’s target sex.
  16. Gender Bend- To retun to living as a member of one’s biological sex after an extended full-time period of living as one’s target sex.
  17. Gender Identity- An inner sense that one is or belongs to a particular sex.
  18. Gender Identity Disorder- A disorder related tp a gender identity that is inconsistent with one’s biological sex.
  19. Intersexed- Having primary or secondary sex charasteristics of both sexes.
  20. Packer- To put an object, often a dildo, in one’s pants to suggest to others the presence of a penis.
  21. Passing- To succeed at presenting as one’s target sex.
  22. Read-To be viewed as a member of one’s biological sex despite presenting as a member of one’s target sex.
  23. Target Sex- The sex you wish to be
  24. Transition- The movement from one gender to the other
  25. Post-Op- After getting top/bottom surgery
  26. Pre-Op- Before getting top/bottom surgery
  27. Hormone Replacement Therapy- A term used for the taking of sex-related hormone s (e.g., estrogen, testosterone).
